Belgian champions Club Brugge have blocked Raphael Onyedika from joining Galatasaray, DAILY POST reports.

Galatasaray have already agreed personal terms with Onyedika and were hoping to reach an agreement with Club Brugge.

According to Voetbalkrant.com, Club Brugge have, however, refused to sell the Nigerian to the Turkish Super Lig champions.

Brugge believed getting a worthy replacement for the defensive midfielder would be difficult.

The transfer window in Belgium is also closed, which means they can’t even sign a replacement.

Also, the registration for the UEFA Champions League closed last Wednesday.

So the earliest Onyedika could be allowed to move will be January, when the transfer window reopens.
