Manchester City have gone top of the Premier League table, thanks to a 3-1 win at West Ham in Saturday’s late kick-off.

The Premier League champions are now the only team to have won their opening three fixtures.

Erling Haaland opened the scoring in the first half, before the hosts levelled after Jarrod Bowen’s cross deflected in via Ruben Dias.

However, in the second half, Haaland scored twice as City took the game beyond the Hammers.

Pep Guardiola’s men now have nine points, two more than Arsenal and Brighton, who played out a 1-1 draw at the Emirates earlier in the day.
