Football transfer expert, Dharmesh Shah has provided an update on Jadon Sancho’s move to Chelsea.
According to him, the England international has no qualms about a move to Stamford Bridge or Juventus.
The 24-year-old former Borussia Dortmund winger seemingly faces an uncertain future at Manchester United.
Sancho, who joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021, has only contributed 12 goals and six assists in 83 games across competitions.
The England star was banished from Erik ten Hag’s squad last season due to a public altercation with the manager.
He spent the second half of the 2023-24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and returned to Old Trafford afterwards.
Following a reported rapprochement with Ten Hag, the 24-year-old featured in the FA Community Shield, which United lost on penalties to Manchester City.
However, Sancho was subsequently excluded from the squad for the first two Premier League games of the season.
He now wants to leave the club with interest from both Chelsea and Juventus.
Shah said that the winger is ready to move to either club and that United won’t seek a replacement (as per Sky Sports).
“Sancho is open to a move to either Chelsea or Juventus.
“Manchester United do not need to replace Jadon Sancho if he was to leave,” he said.
