Remo Stars have been dumped out of the CAF Champions League following a 2-0 loss to AS FAR of Morocco.
DAILY POST recalls that AS FAR also eliminated Remo Stars in the preliminary round of the competition last season.
AS FAR won the two-legged contest 3-2 on aggregate.
The hosts dominated the first half but Remo Stars stood firm at the back.
Joel Beya, however, gave AS FAR the lead eight minutes after the break.
The Moroccans put the game beyond Remo Stars with the second goal through a penalty converted by El Amine Zouhzouh in the 78th minute.
Nigeria now has two clubs (Rangers and Enyimba) left on the continent.
