Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede is optimistic his side will put up a good performance in the CAF Champions League this season.
The Sky Blue Stars will be playing in Africa’s prestigious club competition for the second consecutive season.
The Ikenne club will host Morocco’s AS FAR in the first leg of their preliminary round contest on Sunday.
Remo Stars were eliminated by the same opponent in the preliminary round last season.
The drew the first leg 1-1 away and fell 1-0 at home in the reverse fixture.
Ogunmodede is however optimistic they will get a better result this time around.
“We learn from our experiences, and I believe we will do better this time around,” the gaffer was quoted by CAF online.
“It’s our third time on the continent, and we’re more experienced now.”
