Turkish Super Lig club, Trabzonspor have reignited their interest in forward Paul Onuachu.

Onuachu spent last season on loan with the Black Sea Storm, making a big impression following a difficult six months spell at Southampton.

The forward registered 17 goals and four assists across all competitions for the former Turkish champions.

Trabzonspor have expressed interest in signing the former KRC Genk player on a permanent transfer.

They have however been unable to meet Trabzonspor’s valuation.

Southampton have demanded €10m for the Nigeria international.

According to Fotomac, Trabzonspor have submitted a new proposal involving a player-plus-cash offer for the striker.

It remain to be seen whether Southampton will accept the latest offer.

He is still under contract at Southampton until June 2026.
