Former Flying Eagles captain Daniel Bameyi is close to sealing a move to Nigeria Premier Football League side Bayelsa United.

According to reports, Bameyi has agreed personal terms with the Prosperity Boys.

Bameyi will join Bayelsa United from non-league side Yum Yum FC.

Newly appointed Bayelsa United head coach, Ladan Bosso, is understood to have facilitated the move.

Bameyi captained the Flying Eagles under the tutelage of Bosso.

The youngster was reportedly courted by a number of top clubs in the NPFL.
