Nigeria forward Tolu Arokodare has reiterated his desire to stay at Belgian Pro League side, KRC Genk.
Arokodare has been linked with a move To Turkish outfit, Trabzonspor this summer.
The 23-year-old has scored twice in Genk’s opening two fixtures of the 2024/25 season.
The striker was on target in the opening day 3-1 defeat at OH Leuven.
Arokodare was also among the goal scorers as Genk rallied to beat champions Club Brugge on Saturday.
“Only players who retire really know when it’s their last match anywhere. As for me, this was not my last match for Genk, I think,” he was quoted by HLN.
“There are still matches to come. Next week we play against Beerschot. I’m focused on that and not on rumours. I have a contract with Genk and I will respect that by doing my job.”
