Nigeria long jump star, Ese Brume has vowed to bounce back from the disappointment of her poor showing at the 2024 Olympic Games.

Brume was one of Nigeria’s medal hopefuls leading to Paris 2024 but failed to live up to expectations.

The 27-year-old won bronze medal in the women’s long jump three years ago.

The Commonwealth champion, however, finished in fifth position this time around.

Brume confessed he was hampered by injury.

“To be honest, it was an amazing experience for me,” Brume told Making of Champions.

“Looking back to where I’m coming from, I didn’t compete much this year because of injuries.

“Even up to today, I also competed with an injury, but I’m glad that I made it this far. I’m happy with myself and thankful to God.”
