Manchester City legend, Sergio Agüero, has backed Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski to come good for the Xavi’s men.

Lewandowski has scored 13 goals in 28 games this season for Barcelona.

The Poland international has registered only one assist and one goal in his last seven La Liga games for Barca.

Asked about Lewandowski’s poor form, Aguero told Stakes, “Can’t be so off-pace if he scored against Madrid, can he? Strikers are measured by the amount they score, and the moment their production takes a dip, they are ‘off-pace’.
