Ghanaian side, Hasaacas Ladies have received a huge boost ahead of the WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers.

Ghana’s Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia through the head of communications Tamimu Issah, donated $10,000 to the team on Thursday.

The donation is aimed at encouraging the team ahead of the qualifiers in Cote d’Ivoire.

Hasaacas Ladies are drawn in Group B with Nigeria Women Football League champions, Edo Queens, Burkina Faso’s Omnisports Etincelle, and Niger’s AS Garde National.

The tournament will run from August 10th-23rd, 2024.

The winner will represent WAFU B at the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League.
