Former Democratic Republic of Congo captain Gabriel Zakuani has predicted that Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, Round of 16 clash with Cameroon will be an aggressive encounter.

Zakuani insisted that both the Super Eagles and the Indomitable Lions hate each other, adding that it will be great to see some challenges flying during the encounter on Saturday.

He also backed Victor Osimhen to shine for the Super Eagles against Cameroon.

“Nigeria against Cameroon stands out for me,” Zakuani said on the BBC World Service.

“They actually hate each other; it will be great to see some challenges flying in that one. Just to see if Osimhen starts producing the goals. He is getting the chances but not the goals.

“I would like to see him light up that one because he will be looking forward to it.”
