Former Chelsea defender, William Gallas has noted that at this point, the Blues are not even good enough to qualify for the Champions League.

To play in the Champions League, Chelsea need to fight to put themselves within the top four in the league.

For the past two seasons, the Blues have finished outside the Champions League place despite spending billions of pounds on signing players.

Gallas expressed concern over the state of the squad, suggesting that Chelsea still need to add quality in order to stand a chance.

Gallas said, via Genting Casino, “Even though it’s preseason, I’m concerned about Chelsea and I’m concerned when I look at the squad.

“Despite all the money they’ve spent, the squad still isn’t good enough to qualify for the Champions League, they have so many players and they still need more quality.”
