Nigeria’s Anuoluwapo Opeyori is out of the men’s Paris 2024 Olympic Badminton event.

This was possible after he lost 0-2 to the world’s number six, Li Shifeng of China on Thursday.

Opeyori made his Chinese opponent work hard for every point earned during the match.

He lost 17-21, 17-21 against Li Shifeng.

The defeat was his second loss in the Group N of the men’s singles event.

Recall that Opeyori was defeated by Tobias Kuenzi of Switzerland at Le Chapelle Arena on Wednesday.
