Bayelsa United technical adviser, Ladan Bosso has revealed the importance of the pre-season tournament for his team.

The Prosperity Boys are billed to take part in a pre-season tournament in Yenagoa in August.

Bosso stated that the tournament would serve as a perfect preparatory ground for his players.

He added that the tournament will give the technical crew the opportunity to perfect their strategies ahead of the new season.

The tournament will be staged at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa.

Shooting Stars, Kwara United, Rivers United, Sunshine Stars, Akwa United and Abia will take part in the competition.

Other teams that will take part are Bendel Insurance, Coal City FC and Warri Wolves.
