Halimat Ayinde has rallied support for her Super Falcons teammates ahead of the crunch Group C clash with Japan.

The Super Falcons must beat the Asian champions to have any chance of making it to the quarter-finals at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games.

Randy Waldrum’s side lost their opening two games against Brazil and Spain.

Ayinde, who missed out on a place in the Super Falcons squad to the Olympics due to injury also challenged the players to give their all on the pitch.

“Stop the bad-mouthing and give the Super Falcons all the support they need today.
One love. Let’s give everything today mates, ” she wrote on X.

The encounter slated for the Stade de la Beaujoire, Nantes will kick-off at 4pm Nigeria time.
