West Ham United are now in advanced talks with Manchester United over the signing of right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
According to Sky Sports, both Premier League clubs are close to an agreement for Wan-Bissaka’s switch from Old Trafford to the London Stadium.
Wan-Bissaka is in the final year of his contract at Man United.
A deal for Wan-Bissaka will accelerate the Red Devils’ move for Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui.
There is agreement on many aspects of the deal for Mazraoui.
The Morocco international is keen to make the move, with personal terms not expected to be a problem.
Meanwhile, in another development, Jess Carter departed Chelsea’s Women’s team on Monday.
The Blues disclosed in a statement on their website that the 26-year-old has left the club to join NJ/NY Gotham FC after six successful years at the west London club.
Carter joined Chelsea in 2018 from Birmingham City and has gone on to surpass 150 appearances for the club.
“Everyone at Chelsea would like to sincerely thank Jess for her contributions to our success over the last six years, and we wish her well for the next chapter of her career in the United States,” Chelsea’s statement partly read.
