Former Super Eagles midfielder, Sunday Oliseh, has named one Premier League club he thinks would do greatly in the upcoming season.

The former Super Eagles coach is tipping Aston Villa for success following the club’s signing of Amadou Onana from Everton.

Villa announced the signing of the Belgium International this week.

Unai Emery’s side will be playing in the Champions League this season for the first time since the 1982/1983 season.

They have also signed former Chelssa forward Ross Barkley, Ian Maatsen, Samuel Illing-Junior, Enzo Barrenechea, Lewis Dobbin, Cameron Archer, Jaden Philogene and most recently Onana.

Oliseh backed the Lions for success in the coming campaign.

“This transfer deal has the potential to take Unai Emery’s Aston Villa to a totally different level. Be smart, don’t you dare bet against Villa this season,” Oliseh posted on X.

Aston Villa are said to be interested in signing Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho.
