Serie B club Sampdoria have announced the loan signing of Nigeria midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, DAILY POST reports.

Akinsanmiro joined Sampdoria from Serie A champions Inter Milan.

The Blucerchiati have the option to purchase the player permanently next summer, while a buy-back clause was also inserted by Inter Milan.

The 19-year-old arrived at Inter Milan from Nigeria Premier Football League outfit Remo Stars in January 2023.

Akinsanmiro made one league appearance for the former European champions.

He is expected to help Sampdoria push for promotion to Serie A.
