Kano State government have sacked the interim management committee of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side, Kano Pillars.
The state commissioner for Youths and Sports, Mustpaha Rabiu Kwankwaso, in a statement stated that the decision to sack the management and board members is hinged on the expiration of their tenure in office.
Kwankwaso directed the management to proceed with the immediate handing over of the affairs of the club to the most senior civil servant attached to the club.
He, however, thanked the board members for their service to the club, the people of Kano and the extended football family.
DAILY POST recalled that the sacked management team led by Alhaji Babangida Umar Little had announced the appointment of Paul Offor as the new technical adviser of Kano Pillars ahead of the new season.
The 2024-25 NPFL season is scheduled to commence in August.
