Everton midfielder, Amadou Onana, is set to snub Arsenal for a move to Aston Villa.
The Toffees and Villa are closing to finalizing a £50m deal for the Belgian, according to Sky Sports.
Agreeing personal terms with Onana is also not expected to be a problem.
Unai Emery wants to bolster his squad ahead of their Champions League campaign.
Onana has made 72 appearances for Everton, including 37 last season in all competitions after joining from Lille for £30m in 2022.
He represented his country at Euro 2024, where they were knocked out by France in the last 16.
In other developments, Willy Kambwala is close to signing for Villarreal.
