El-Kanemi Warriors head coach, Aliyu Zubairu says his side will work hard to beat Abia Warriors in Saturday’s President Federation Cup final.

The Maiduguri club will look to win their third President Federation Cup title when they take on Abia Warriors in the final of the competition at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

Zubairu credited hard work for his team’s progress to the final and believed the same virtue will see them triumph over their opponent.

“Hard work has been our mainstay. Everyone works for the other, including the players on the pitch. It was a tough league season, and our real objective at the beginning of the season was to gain promotion back to the NPFL,” he told thenff.com.

“However, after the Round of 16, we suddenly realized that with more hard work, we could go all the way to the final.”

El-Kanemi are expected to travel to Lagos for the final on Thursday.
