Warri Wolves have terminated the appointment of their head coach Jolomi Atune, DAILY POST reports.
Atune’s disengagement was confirmed by a directive from the Chairman, Delta State Sports Commission, Tonubok Okowa.
The termination of the gaffer’s contract takes immediate effect.
The Seasiders management cited the recent consistent poor results as reason for their action.
Warri Wolves suffered a 4-1 loss to Inter Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Saturday.
Assistant Coach Austine Johnny has been directed to take charge of the team pending the appointment of a new technical adviser.
Warri Wolves management thanked the coach for his contributions to the team.
