Former Chelsea star John Obi Mikel has named Andres Iniesta and Kevin De Bruyne as his ultimate midfielders.

The former Nigeria international spoke in an interview with ESPN, where he also picked Sergio Busquets.

Mikel picked Busquets for his passing ability and former Italian midfielder, Gennaro Gatusso for his work rate.

The former Super Eagles star also included ex-Blaugrana manager Xavi for his ability to score.

Mikel picked Iniesta for his vision, a quality, according to him, that is extremely important in tight spaces.

Iniesta, 40, played 674 games across all competitions for Barcelona, scored 57 goals and made 136 assists.

Mikel chose De Bruyne for the same quality as the Belgium international has scored 107 goals and assisted 170 times for Manchester City in 382 appearances across competitions.
