Albert Korvah is planning to report Nigeria Premier Football League side, Rivers United to the Federation of International Football Association, FIFA, after claiming that the club failed to honour the terms of his contract.

The Sierra Leonean forward said he has terminated his contract with the former NPFL champions.

Korvah joined Rivers United last season from Watanga for US$50,000, signing a three-year contract.

He was voted the best foreign player in the NPFL last season.

Korvah has however found game time difficult this season which has prompted his decision to leave the club.

Meanwhile, Rivers United declared him Absent Without Official Leave, AWOL, alleging that the player absconded from the team’s camp.

Rivers United have threatened to seek redress on the issue.
