Fenerbahce are considering a bid for Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood, but the forward is hesitant about working with manager Jose Mourinho.
Greenwood recently concluded a loan spell with Getafe in La Liga.
Now, Manchester United must make a decision regarding his future at the club.
Since his arrest in January 2022 on charges of attempted rape, controlling behavior, and assault, Greenwood has not played for the Red Devils.
Although all charges were dropped in February, plans to reintegrate him into manager Erik ten Hag’s squad were met with significant public backlash.
United is reportedly open to selling Greenwood this summer, with multiple clubs from Europe and the Premier League showing interest.
According to The Sun, Fenerbahce is among the teams eager to sign the 22-year-old in a bid to bolster Mourinho’s squad for the upcoming season.
However, Greenwood reportedly has reservations about playing under Mourinho, despite having impressed the former Man United manager during training sessions in his academy days.
