Brazil football legend, Ronaldo Nazário, has said Vinícius Júnior has already done enough to win this year’s Ballon d’Or.

Vinicius starred this season as Real Madrid won the LaLiga and Champions League titles.

The 23-year-old scored in Madrid’s 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in last weekend’s Champions League final, securing their 15th European Cup title.

In total, Vinícius scored 24 goals in 34 games in all competitions.

“I think Viní already deserves [the Ballon d’Or]. He’s had a spectacular Champions League, a spectacular La Liga, and he’s been evolving more and more,” Ronaldo told ESPN Brasil.

“I think his time has come. He’s been extremely decisive this year for Real Madrid. For me, today he’s the best player in the world by far.”
