Bafana Bafana of South Africa have started preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, DAILY POST reports.
All the invited 23 players took part in training on Monday, according to information on the team’s official X platform.
The team will travel to Nigeria via a chartered flight later this week.
The contingent will land in Lagos before connecting another flight to Uyo.
The South African Football Association (SAFA) is yet to release the team’s full itinerary for the trip to Nigeria.
The former African champions will be up against the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday.
Hugo Broos’ side will entertain the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Free State Stadium, Bloemfontein four days later.
