Cypriot club, AEK Larnaca have announced the signing of Nigerian defender, Godswill Ekpolo.

Ekpolo, who joined AEK Larnaca from another Cypriot outfit, Apollon Limassol FC, penned a two-year contract with the option of another year.

The versatile defender made 49 appearances for Limassol, with three goals and two assists to his name “Kition Athletic Association (AEK) Larnaca is pleased to announce the signing of Nigerian versatile defender Godswill Ekpolo for the next 2+1 years,” read a statement on the club’s website.

“The footballer successfully completed the necessary medical examinations and then signed the relevant contracts.”

Ekpolo once had stint with LaLiga giants Barcelona and featured prominently for the reserve team.
