Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has claimed he is at a disadvantage in the race to win the Ballon d’Or.

However, the England international has backed teammate Vinicius Junior to win it.

Bellingham is regarded as a contender for the Ballon d’Or prize following his impressive debut season in Spain.

However, the 20-year-old insists he is not bothered whether or not he wins it.

“I’m not really too fussed about it,” Bellingham told Teledeporte.

“I always felt that the Ballon d’Or and those kinds of things were like for strikers and wingers, the flashy players. I know I can entertain a crowd but no one can do it like Vini. I’ve said before that when he is at his best, he’s the best player in the world.”
