Netherland captain Virgil van Dijk has named the two strong teams that could win the Euro 2024 this summer.

The 2023-24 season will end after Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund clash in the UEFA Champions League final at Wembley on Saturday, June 1.

After the Champions League final, much of the focus will be transferred to the Euro 2024 coming up in the summer in Germany.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Van Dijk named England and France as two teams with strength heading into Euro 2024.

“England has a very, very good [strong] team and squad, but so many other teams do as well,” Van Dijk said.

“France are very strong. It will be interesting. I’m looking forward to it.”
