Real Madrid are not keen on re-signing former captain Karim Benzema from Al Ittihad, L’Equipe reports.
Benzema only left Los Blancos last summer to move to the Saudi Arabian club.
But Madrid are happy to allow Manchester United and Chelsea a free run at the Frenchman.
Benzema is said to be considering his future and could leave the Middle East this January transfer window.
He has scored 15 goals in 24 appearances for Al Ittihad since the move, but has struggled to settle in his new surroundings.
Benzema is believed to have clashed with his now former manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who was sacked in November.
A return to the Bernabeu has also been mooted but the Spanish club have little intention of re-signing a player who scored 354 goals for them.
