The technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, will be present at the Nigeria National League (NNL) playoff.
NFF’s technical director, Augustine Eguavoen, disclosed this to the NNL media.
Eguavoen described the NNL as a very important league due to the abundance of young players who ply their trade in it.
His words: “NNL is very important. It is a Nigeria Football Federation critical project. We have such an important age bracket of players in the league that should serve to feed the national Under-20 and 23 teams.
“I can also say that the coach of the Flying Eagles, Ladan Bosso, should be in Enugu which obviously provides the platform for him to scout for players. The eight coaches of the qualified teams and their technical crew must ensure they portray the best of standards and quality at all times on and off the pitch.
“We expect the best of behaviours from the coaches and their crew to conform to global standards; the national and global focus will be on NNL and the conduct of the coaches will speak volumes for us. We, at NFF, too, will closely monitor the coaches. I am sure they are forward-looking. They should concern themselves more with producing the best teams and deploying the best tactics to excel.”
The NNL Super Eight is scheduled to be held in Enugu from June 7- 14, 2024.
