Journalist, Piers Morgan has taken a swipe at departing Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp.

According to him, winning one Premier League title in eight years does not put the German among elite coaches.

Klopp will leave Liverpool after the final games in the Premier League this Sunday.

Klopp spent nine years in the Premier League during which he helped The Reds win a Premier League title in 2019-20

It was Liverpool’s first title in 30 years and their sixth UEFA Champions League trophy.

Reacting to an image on X showing Jurgen Klopp standing in the middle of Anfield and being dubbed one of the ‘Premier League greats’, Morgan said:

“I don’t think winning one League title in 8 years makes you a Premier League great.”

Klopp has made it clear that he would never return to the Premier League.
