Manchester United defender, Raphael Varane, will leave the club this summer after they refused to trigger a contract extension.
Varane will now depart Old Trafford as a free agent after this season.
The 31-year-old joined the Red Devils from Real Madrid in the summer of 2021 and has made 93 appearances.
The Frenchman signed a three-year deal with the option for one more.
But United are ready to offload Varane, as they seek to rebuild the squad ahead of the 2024/2025 campaign.
In an emotional video posted on social media, Varane said: “Despite the fact we had a difficult season, I’m very positive for the future.
“The new owners are coming with a clear plan and a great strategy.
“I’ll see you at Old Trafford to say goodbye for the last game at home this season and it’s going to be a very emotional day for me, for sure.”
