Sunshine Stars Technical Adviser, Kennedy Boboye, has said his team deserved their victory over Rivers United

The Owena Waves defeated Rivers United 1-0 in their rescheduled matchday 27 fixture in Akure on Sunday.

Awosanmi Promise scored the only goal of the game.

Boboye admitted that the encounter was a display of tactics between both teams.

“It’s good that we secured the maximum points against a tactical team like Rivers United,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“It’s shows that the better side with the best tactics won.”

Sunshine Stars remain in the relegation zone despite the win.
