Arsenal striker, Gabriel Jesus has hailed teammate William Saliba as a ‘very special’ player in the Gunners’ squad.

Jesus said it is very hard to play against Saliba, adding that he is so sharp.

Saliba has been impressive for Mikel Arteta’s side so far this season, forming a strong partnership with Gabriel Magalhaes at the heart of defense.

“It’s hard to play against him [Saliba]. I have never played against him in a match, only in training, but even then it’s hard because he’s so sharp and hard to beat,” Jesus told Arsenal’s website ahead of their Premier League tie with Manchester United on Sunday.

“We are all working hard to improve and if he carries on doing that he can be one of the best, for sure. He’s very special.

“Everyone knows how good he is, but not only him – he and Gabriel match up perfectly, and I think Gabi has helped him a lot.”
