Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has insisted his team will “have a crack” when they play Manchester City on Tuesday.
A positive Spurs result against City could hand Arsenal the Premier League title.
Pep Guardiola’s men are two wins away from a record fourth successive Premier League title following a 4-0 win at Fulham on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners will return to the top of the table if they beat Manchester United on Sunday, but the title remains in City’s hands as they have a game in hand – against Tottenham on Tuesday night – before the final day of the season.
But Postecoglou said: “They’re outstanding, them and Arsenal are the benchmark [in the Premier League] right now, they’re 20-odd points ahead of us so we’ve got some ground to make up.
“But it’s at our place, it’s 95 minutes of football and we’re going to have a crack.”
