Equatorial Guinea captain Emilio Nsue is happy with the outcome of the side’s encounter with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The Nzalang Nacional were held to a 1-1 draw by the Super Eagles in their opening fixture at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Goalkeeper Jesus Owono was the hero as he made a number of vital saves to deny the Super Eagles in the game.

“For us here, we are happy for the point; we are not happy for the performance. So, we have to look at the next game,” Nsue said after the game.

“For us, the next game is the most important one. ”

Juan Micha’s men will take on Guinea-Bissau in their next game at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium on Thursday.
