Royal Antwerp midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf is expected to make his competitive Super Eagles debut against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday (today).
Yusuf took the place of injured Wilfred Ndidi in Nigeria’s squad for the competition.
The 23-year-old according to camp sources has impressed in training and is expected to be named in the starting line-up against the Nzalang Nacional.
The talented midfielder was in action for 83 minutes in Super Eagles’ friendly defeat to Guinea on Monday.
He is tipped to play as a second pivot in midfield to Frank Onyeka.
Everton star, Alex Iwobi will occupy the number 10 role.
