Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has held showdown talks with Alejandro Garnacho after the players liked two posts on social media criticising the coach.
Garnacho was substituted at half-time as United played out a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday.
It was the fourth consecutive loss in the league for the Red Devils.
Garnacho, who has over 700,000 followers on the X app, was spotted having liked both of Mark Goldbridge’s tweets – before later removing them.
Goldbridge is the host of the popular fan channel the United Stand and he slammed Ten Hag for his decision to withdraw Garnacho.
The Manchester Evening News reports Ten Hag has held private talks with the 19-year-old over his activity on social media.
