Former Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique has made his pick between Wayne Rooney and Luis Suarez.

Pique was a former teammate of Rooney and Suarez during his time at Manchester United and Barcelona, respectively.

Both Suarez and Rooney were regarded as two of the best strikers of their generation during their prime.

While Suarez is still playing, now at Major League Soccer side Inter Miami, Rooney retired a few years ago.

However, when asked to pick between the two, Pique had no hesitation in naming Rooney.

The former Spain international explained his choice (as per UtdDistrict), terming Rooney ‘incredible’.

“I would say Wazza. Rooney was, at that time in his prime, incredible,” Pique said.
