Chelsea goalkeeper, Jamie Cumming, has completed a loan move to League One club Oxford United.

The Blues made the announcement in a statement via its website on Thursday.

Cumming joined Chelsea at eight years old.

He has previously spent time on loan at Stevenage, Gillingham, and MK Dons.

The Academy graduate, who was part of Chelsea’s pre-season tour to the United States, will now continue his development in League One.

Meanwhile, in a related development, Arsenal have confirmed the signing of United States international defender Emily Fox on a permanent transfer.

The Gunners disclosed this in a statement via its website on Thursday.

Fox joins Arsenal’s Women football team following a spell at North Carolina Courage in the National Women’s Soccer League in the United States.

The 25-year-old defender spent her first two seasons in the professional game at Racing Louisville, having represented North Carolina Tar Heels at college level.
