Sadiq is expected to be available for Nigeria’s second Group B game against hosts Cote d’Ivoire next Tuesday.
Bundesliga striker, Victor Boniface is already ruled out of the competition.
His replacement, Terem Moffi, will join the rest of the Super Eagles squad on Sunday.
