Far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) claimed Thursday that her views have been vindicated following President-elect Donald Trump’s decisive victory in the 2024 election.
Appearing on Real America’s Voice, the conspiracy theory-peddling congresswoman noted how critics have previously slammed her as “radical, fringe, extremist.”
But “the message that was shot across the bow” with Trump’s win is “guess what, the American people, the voters that voted for Trump overwhelmingly, they are MTG,” she said.
“MTG is not radical or extreme, she’s mainstream America and I am very much looking forward to working in an administration that is on that level,” added Greene, a staunch supporter of Trump who has been tipped for a role in his cabinet, in video shared online by Raw Story.
On Wednesday, Greene celebrated Trump’s win by falsely claiming it was his third election triumph. She has been one of the biggest booster of his lie that he didn’t lose to President Joe Biden in 2020.
Greene has most recently claimed “they” ― presumably Democrats ― can control extreme weather events and promoted the drinking of raw milk.
In 2022, she addressed a white supremacist conference.
