BOLLYWOOD ACTOR Shraddha Kapoor will unveil The Indian Express‘s iconic film magazine Screen on Friday. The unveiling of Screen, which returns to the group after 11 years, will kick off with its first-ever digital cover featuring the Stree 2 star.
The event, which will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Worli, will also feature celebrated names from the Hindi film industry, including filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, and actors Vikrant Massey and Vijay Varma.
Screen has been a leading voice in Indian entertainment since 1949. The magazine, which has covered the Indian film industry closely over the decades, will now be back in a new avatar.
After the unveiling of the digital cover, the event will host two panel discussions. ‘Screen Live’ will see Shraddha take centre stage as she discusses her life, career and stardom, especially after the success of Stree 2, the horror-comedy that made history at the box office.
Shraddha will be in conversation with Jyoti Sharma Bawa, The Indian Express‘s Entertainment Editor, followed by a special segment hosted by Anant Goenka, Executive Director, The Indian Express Group. The session will end with a question-answer round with the audience.

The launch — presented by ixigo — will be followed by a ‘Creator x Creator’ session, which will see Rajkumar Hirani, known for helming acclaimed blockbusters like Munnabhai MBBS, 3 Idiots, and the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki, in conversation with 12th Fail actor Vikrant Massey and Vijay Varma, who was recently seen in Netflix’s IC 814. The trio, who will talk about their art, philosophy, process and career, will be in conversation with Shubhra Gupta, Film Critic, The Indian Express.
With the launch, The Indian Express’s entertainment section, which consistently attracts between 20 million and 45 million unique users a month on the website, will now be rebranded as Screen and will continue to deliver cutting-edge coverage of the Indian film industry.
