Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid, has agreed to claims that his female colleagues, Tems and Ayra Starr, were doing better than him in the music industry.

DAILY POST reports that Odumodublvck claimed on a recent podcast that Tems and Ayra Starr have done more for the Nigerian music industry than Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, and Afrobeats megastars, Wizkid and Burna Boy.

According to him, being a successful female artiste is the hardest job in the world. His claim earned backlash.

Reacting to the backlash, Odumodublvck wrote via X: “[laughing and rocket emojis] Kalaaaa [his nickname] – Industry machine,” eulogising himself and seemingly mocking his trolls.

Quoting the post, Wizkid wrote, “Kala no lie [suggesting Odumodublvck’s claims on the podcast weren’t false].”

An X user then wrote under Wizkid’s post: “So Ayra Starr and Tems are better than you. I’m glad you used your mouth to say Odumodu is not lying.”

Wizkid replied, “I see u weren’t raised by a good woman and love at home. Ayra Star and Tems are amazing.”
