Plateau United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut has urged the Nigeria Premier Football League to always take into consideration weather conditions when fixing matches.
Mbwas believed that the move will help the players perform to their best.
DAILY POST reports the Peace Boys tactician’s frustration was echoed following the rescheduling of the matchday 25 fixture involving Plateau United and Gombe United to 2pm as against the usual 4pm.
“To me whatever the organizers determined, I think we should play in a better weather which will help the players express themselves,” he told Plateau United media.
“Once it is harsh, it is a little bit difficult. I think we better play in normal weather.”
Plateau United defeated Gombe United 4-0 at the New Jos Stadium on Wednesday.
