Enyimba head coach, Finidi George is most likely to lead the Super Eagles for the international friendlies against the Black Stars of Ghana and Eagles of Mali later this month.

The position of Super Eagles head coach is currently vacant after erstwhile handler, Jose Peseiro left following the expiration of his contract.

A new head coach is expected to be unveiled by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) next month.

According to reports, Finidi, who was one of the assistants to Peseiro, barring any last minute changes, will be in the dugout for the two friendlies.

The former winger led Enyimba to win a record ninth Nigeria Premier Football League title last season.

The Super Eagles will tackle eternal rivals Ghana at the Grande de Marrakech on Friday, March 22.

The three-time African Champions will be up against Mali four days later at the same venue.
