Shooting Stars technical adviser Gbenga Ogunbote has admitted that fatigue is the major factor that can affect his team’s impressive start to the second stanza of the season.
The Oluyole Warriors are yet to taste defeat in their last four matches.
Ogunbote said his players are beginning to get used to the recent tactical switch.
Shooting Stars will battle against Doma United at the Pantami Stadium on Wednesday.
“Tactically, I think we are doing it right. I did say at the end of the first round, I said we can always be better,” he told the club’s media.
“The only fear I had in the second half of the game was fatigue setting in.
“We will be on the road again for another two days, play the game on Wednesday, spend another two days on the road.
“It is taking a great toll on the team, you can see through the substitutions we made, that we were able to add fresh legs in the second half to be able to sustain the game.
“So I think the boys are really getting it right because they equally want to make history with the club.”
